Why you need a good policy

An effective and well communicated policy helps your business:

An employee at a conference attended a post-dinner drinks session, paid for by the company. The next morning at the conference, co-workers reported that he was slurring, speaking loudly and inappropriately, and smelt of alcohol. Following his dismissal, he pursued a claim against the company and was awarded almost $300, 000 for his unfair dismissal.
