Telethon Kids Institute website from the Perth Children's Hospital has a focus on prevention of pediatric diseases, conditions and issues including cerebral palsy, childhood cancer, breast feeding, anxiety, and depression. It provides several excellent resources on paediatric and maternal health information including the impact of alcohol on pregnancy and child health outcomes, especially FASD. There are simple, easy to understand resources about FASD, including what it is, diagnosing FASD, as well as a very comprehensive FAQ. The Institute has a focus on Aboriginal health and wellbeing. The published peer-reviewed papers are useful for academics and researchers with journal articles dating back to 2000.
